Together with the GCS, you can adjust TITAN or ASTER settings and update or upgrade their firmware from devices with Android, iOS and since fall 2020, soon also Windows or and macOS.

Safety Summary

For your safety, read the information below carefully before installing the device.

1. Download and install GATE Control Station:
   www.gatee.eu/gcs

2. Enable Bluetooth function on your device

3. Prepare the Blu-Link troubleshooting card Troubleshooting Card included in the kit

4. Plug Blu-Link into AEG battery, LED side up. LED should glow green for 1 s.

5. Read the LED status and relate to troubleshooting card

6. Log into the GCS app

7. Prepare PIN printed on the Blu-Link PIN card

8. Connect Blu-Link by following the instructions from the GCS

9. Plug Blu-Link into AEG/ETU

10. Enjoy using of the Blu-Link

1. The color of LED reflects on the problem type:

   1. Yellow indicates a warning

   2. Red indicates a problem

2. Number of blinks determines what exactly the problem is (for reference, read DTC explanations presented later on in this guide)

If you use an ETU connected to Blu-Link, check also the ETU DTC. Blu-Link is designed to withstand higher power load and lower voltage than ETU, so in most cases, the ETU protection turns on earlier and the Blu-Link does not detect the problem.

LED	WHAT HAPPENED	POSSIBLE REASON	WHAT TO DO
Image Modified	ULL – User load limit was exceeded.	The load limit is set too low, according to the AEG configuration. Other possible reasons the same as in OCP or SCP.	Modify adjustable smart fuse settings. Follow the OCP or SCP guidelines. Contact us at support@gatee.eu
Image Modified	OCP – Blu-Link has detected a too high current. The overcurrent protection was activated.	Motor is damaged. Motor or gearbox is jammed. Motor connections short circuit.	Replace the motor. Unjam the motor or gearbox. Check and fix the motor wires insulation.
Image Modified	SCP – Blu-Link has detected a current over 270A. The short circuit protection was activated.	Motor is damaged. Motor or gearbox is jammed. Motor connections short circuit.	Replace the motor. Unjam the motor or gearbox. Check and fix the motor wires insulation.
Image Modified	OTP – Blu-Link temperature is too high. Over temperature protection was activated.	Outside temperature is too high in correlation with the demanding AEG. Frequent short circuits and Blu-Link electrical overloads.	Wait until the temperature drops.

Image Modified	UVP2 – The voltage dropped below level critical for Blu-Link to work properly.	1. The battery is discharged. 2. The battery is worn out and has too high internal resistance. 3. Inadequate battery type for given AEG configuration. 4. Too much electrical resistance between Blu-Link and the battery. 5. Motor is too powerful for the battery connected. 6. Motor connections short circuit. 7. Motor is jammed. 8. Motor is damaged.	Charge the battery. Replace the battery. Use a battery of a greater capacity or voltage. Do not use any adapters. Use standard or high-torque motors instead of high-speed ones. Check and fix the motor wires insulation. Unjam the motor. Replace the motor.
Image Modified	UVP3 – Protection against over-discharge of the battery. Battery protection activated immediately after the battery was connected.	Number of cells differs from the number set in the GCS. The battery is discharged.	Set the same number of cells in GCS as in the battery. Charge the battery up.
