How to use Blu-Link

Notice
You can use Blu-Link without ETU. It will work as a smart fuse and multifunctional wattmeter enabling to, e.g., read telemetry data.
First connection via GCS
Download and install GATE Control Station:
www.gatee.eu/gcsEnable Bluetooth function on your device
Prepare the Blu-Link Troubleshooting Card included in the kit
Plug Blu-Link into AEG battery, LED side up. LED should glow green for 1 s.
Read the LED status and relate to troubleshooting card
Log into the GCS app
Prepare PIN printed on the Blu-Link PIN card
Connect Blu-Link by following the instructions from the GCS

DTC Codes
Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) inform about basic malfunctions and problems with your battery, AEG, ETU or Blu-Link. You are notified of them by LED blinking for 2 minutes after the problem occurs. The Blu-Link DTC can be later read and cleared in DTC menu in GCS app.

The color of LED reflects on the problem type:
Yellow indicates a warning
Red indicates a problem
Number of blinks determines what exactly the problem is (for reference, read DTC explanations presented later on in this guide)

If you use an ETU connected to Blu-Link, check also the ETU DTC. Blu-Link is designed to withstand higher power load and lower voltage than ETU, so in most cases, the ETU protection turns on earlier and the Blu-Link does not detect the problem.
