In the event of trouble

  1. The colour of LED serves to reflect reflects on the actual issue, whereby respectivelyproblem type:

    1. Yellow to indicate indicates a warning

    2. Red to indicate indicates a critical problem

  2. Number of blinks determines what exactly the problem is (for reference, read DTC explanations presented later on in this guide) / The actual nature of the issue will be said corroborated by the number of blinks (for reference, please acquaint the explications from the DTC, to be available further on across this guidebook)

...

DTC explanations

  • grafika - flaga w kolorze i z liczba plus strzałki wyjaśniające

  • dodać za liczbą mignięć znak “x” np. 2x

  • przemyśleć bardziej obrazowe oznaczanie liczby mignięć, np. warfet, 4 błyśnięcia:

Notice
If you use an ETU connected to Blu-Link, check also the ETU's DTC. Blu-Link is designed to withstand higher power load and lower voltage than ETU, so in most cases, an ETU protection turns on earlier and the Blu-Link does not detect the problem.

/ If ETU used in connection to Blu-Link, the DTC to be also checked for the ETU. Since the Blu-link is so-designed to be up to withstand a higher power and lower voltage from the ETU, in most cases by the moment of a possible clash was detected, the ETU protection will have been turned on automatically, so that the Blu-Link was enabled to ignore the problem as unrecognized whatsoever and take for no action to address of it thereby.

WHAT HAPPENED

POSSIBLE REASON

WHAT TO DO

OVL – The load limit was exceeded.

  1. Too high load

  1. Contact us at support@gatee.eu

OCP – Blu-Link has detected a too high current. Overcurrent The overcurrent protection was has been activated.

  1. Too low current is set in the smart fuse settings

  2. Motor is damaged

  3. Motor or gearbox is jammed

  4. Motor connections ' short circuit

  1. Adjust smart fuse settings

  2. Replace the motor

  3. Unjam the motor or gearbox

  4. Check and fix the motor wires ' insulation

SCP – Blu-Link detected a current over 270 A. Short The short circuit protection was activated.

  1. Motor is damaged

  2. Motor or gearbox is jammed

  3. Motor connections ' short circuit

  1. Replace the motor

  2. Unjam the motor or gearbox

  3. Check and fix the motor wires ' insulation

OTP – Blu-Link temperature is too high. Over temperature protection was activated.

  1. Outside temperature is too high in correlation with the demanding AEG

  2. Frequent short circuits and Blu-Link’s Link electrical overloads

Wait until the temperature drops

UVP1 – Battery protection was has been activated.

The battery is discharged

Charge the battery

UVP2 – The voltage dropped below 1.5 V, which is critical for Blu-Link to work properly.

1. The battery is discharged

2. The battery is worn out and has too high internal resistance

3. Inadequate battery type for given AEG configuration

4. Too much electrical resistance between Blu-Link and the battery

5. Motor too strong powerful for the battery connected battery

6. Motor connections ' short circuit

7. Motor is jammed

8. Motor is damaged

  1. Charge the battery

  2. Replace the battery

  3. Use a battery with more of a greater capacity or more voltage

  4. Do not use any adapters

  5. Use standard or high-torque motors instead of high-speed ones

  6. Check and fix the motor wires insulation

  7. Unjam the motor

  8. Replace the motor

UVP3 – Protection against over-discharge of the battery. Battery protection was activated immediately after connecting the battery was connected.

  1. Number of cells is different than their differs from the number set in the GCS

  2. The battery is discharged

  1. Set the same number of cells in GCS as in the battery

  2. Charge the battery up

Notice
There may be several codes displayed one after another, e.g., SCP and UVP2: 4 red blinks; 2 yellow blinks.
