Tools

  • 3D printer

  • Dremel with diamond wheel or precision hacksaw

  • Cyanoacrylate glue

  • Printer, paper, scissors

  • Regular trigger

  1.  Print out QT_220811_Overlay.stl and QT_220811_Sleeve.stl

Printer settings:
a. layer height: 0.15mm
b. filling: 50%
c. PLA

  1. Print and cut out of paper:

QT_sticker_220808.pdf

  1. Prepare your trigger for the Quantum Trigger modification. In order to do that trigger has to be shortened, so the modification is permanent.

  2. Put the printed Quantum Trigger Sleeve (QT_220811_Sleeve.stl) onto your trigger just like in the picture below:

  1. Put the printed Quantum Trigger overlay (QT_220811_Overlay.stl) onto your trigger just like in the pictures below. Bottom part of the Quantum Trigger overlay should touch the sleeve. The two surfaces marked in blue should be aligned to each other.

  1. Mark (using eg. a pencil) signs on the trigger according to the cutting line on the Quantum Trigger Overlay:

                    

      

  1. Draw a cutting line

  1. Cut trigger using dremel with diamond wheel or precision hacksaw

  1. Put cyanoacrylate glue on the marked area of the Quantum Trigger Overlay:

  1. Glue Quantum Trigger Overlay onto the prepared, degreased trigger. Bottom part of the Quantum Trigger overlay should touch the sleeve. The two surfaces marked in blue should be aligned to each other:

 

 

  1. Wait until the glue dries out. Gently remove the sleeve.

  1. Print the Quantum Trigger sticker on a white sheet, in real scale (100%) with the PDF document attached to the technical service and stick it in the place where you mark the place:

 

 

Congratulations! The trigger is ready to use. Remove the white sticker from the gearbox and recalibrate trigger sensor.

  • Quantum Trigger is patent protected. You are not allowed to sell modified triggers.
