Tools

  • 3D printer

  • Dremel with diamond wheel or precision hacksaw

  • Cyanoacrylate glue

  • Printer, paper, scissors

  • Regular trigger

 

  1. Print the QT-DIY_220808.stl overlay

Printer settings:

a.     layer height: 0.15mm

b.     filling: 50%

c.     PLA

2. Print and cut out of paper:

QT_sticker_220808.pdf

3. Prepare your trigger for the Quantum Trigger modification. In order to do that trigger has to be shortened, so the modification is permanent.

4. Put the printed Quantum Trigger overlay (QT-DIY_220808.stl) onto your trigger just like in the picture below:

 

5. Mark (using eg. a pencil) signs on the trigger according to the cutting line on the Quantum Trigger Overlay:

                    

      

6. Draw a cutting line

7. Cut trigger using dremel with diamond wheel or precision hacksaw

8. Put cyanoacrylate glue on the marked area of the Quantum Trigger Overlay:

 9. Glue Quantum Trigger Overlay onto the prepared, degreased trigger:

 

 

10. Wait until the glue dries out.

11. Gently cut off the part marked in blue with the sharp knife (according to the cutting line):

 

 

12. Print the Quantum Trigger sticker in A4 format, real scale (100%) from the PDF document attached to this manual and stick it to the marked area:

 

 

13. Congratulations! The trigger is ready to use. Remove the white sticker from the gearbox and recalibrate trigger sensor.
