The most common mistakes:

  1. Washer issue
    1. User's fault: Placing the washers in wrong order.
    2. Result: Short circuit and permanent damage to the TITAN.
    3. How to detect?

Correct order:

2. Trigger sensors damage

  1. User's fault: Pulling the trigger when the gearbox is open.
  2. Result: Tearing off trigger sensors. TITAN will not be able to detect all 5 trigger sensitivities even while using standard trigger (please note that in case of speed triggers TITAN also cannot detect all trigger sensitivities and it doesn’t mean that sensors are damaged).
  3. How to detect? Trigger sensors (receivers) are missing.

3. Cables damage

  1. User's fault: Incorrect cable routing.
  2. Result: Damaging or total tearing the wires by motor gear
  3. How to detect? Insulation is damaged.

4. Capacitor damage

  1. User's fault: Mounting TITAN V2 in ICS gearbox without necessary modifications
  2. Result: Gearbox latch is damaging or total tearing the yellow capacitor
  3. How to detect? Yellow capacitor is missing or damaged

5. Gear sensor damage

  1. User's fault: Too low shimming of sector gear
  2. Result: Tearing off gear sensor.
  3. How to detect? Gear sensor is missing.

Less frequently encountered:

 6. Fire selector sensor damage

  1. User's fault: Incorrect bottom board placement in gearbox shell
  2. Result: Tearing off fire selector sensor.
  3. How to detect? One of the trigger sensors is missing

7. Motor connector damage

  1. User's fault: Using too much force during motor connector bending, bending connector to wrong side

  1. Result: Braking motor connector
  2. How to detect? Motor connector is broken in half

 8. Reverse polarity

  1. User's fault: Plugging battery to the unit in incorrect order (negative wire with positive wire and positive wire with negative wire)
  2. Result: Destroying main parts of the board
  3. How to detect? Unit is not responding, whole board is burned

9. Wire damage (caused by trigger)

  1. User's fault: Incorrect wire placement in gearbox shell
  2. Result: Tearing wire insulation
  3. How to detect? Wire insulation is teared close to the trigger

 10. Short circuit caused by damaging cables insulation

  1. User's fault: Cutting both positive and negative wire with body of the replica
  2. Result: Insulation damage, short circuit
  3. How to detect? Burned wires from a cut place

11. Repairs or structural modification of any TITAN part, including re-wiring and component replacement

  1. User's fault: Interference in the construction of the unit
  2. Result: Automatic loss of the warranty
  3. How to detect? Visible changes like different wire color

Cases when warranty should be accepted:

  1. Constantly occurring errors from E01 to E06 and E13, E14 and E15
  2. Total absence of reaction from the unit without visible damage
  3. No connection with the USB-Link and/or programming card even if unit is working properly without any visible damage (no programming option)
  4. Continuous occurrence of error E07 combined with no cycle detection (after very accurate troubleshooting)
