TRINITY Replica – Operation of the Magazine Simulation System
Instructions and the concept of how the magazine sensor, bolt-catch and magazine capacity simulation system work
TRINITY replicas are the first in the world to be equipped with a magazine detection sensor and bolt-catch button to simulate the operation of a firearm.
Firearms, after firing the last bullet from the magazine, leave the bolt in the rear position. The bolt-catch button is used to release the bolt and thus insert the bullet into the chamber.
Note
After unboxing the replica, magazine capacity is set to 120 shots. Later, using the GCS app, you can set any magazine capacity from 1 to 250 BBs.
Note
How does the TRINITY replica work?
The replica does not fire when the magazine is removed.
After inserting the first magazine, you need to press the bolt-catch button to start firing.
In comparison – in a firearm you have to pull back the reloading handle, but due to the lack of a reload sensor, we use the bolt-catch button. If you remove the magazine before firing the 120 shots and insert a new one, you don't have to press the bolt-catch button. This is because, simulating the actions of a firearm, the system assumes that a BB is in the chamber, so the automatic loading of the next BB will occur.
After 120 shots from inserting the last magazine, the replica will stop firing.
If you fire the last BB and do not replace the magazine beforehand, then insert a new magazine and press the bolt-catch button to release the bolt.
Note
The GCS app together with the TITAN II Bluetooth® allows you to fully configure how your replica operates. With GCS you can enable or disable the magazine sensor and/or bolt-catch, as well as program any magazine capacity. This allows you to simulate a 30-shot magazine with higher capacity magazines.
