Due to gearbox constraints we have placed electrical paths around the screw hole. As described in the QuickStart guide, to avoid any short circuits, you must use a soft insulation washer included with the INSTALLATION SET between the metal washer and the board. Lack of insulation washer results in the wearing off of the protective varnish and paint, and eventually damaging the unit.

This occurs when users do not use insulation washers and in each case the damage is similar – no response from the unit and an exposed electrical path. In this case warranty is void.

Important notice: This applies to: TITAN V2, TITAN V2 NGRS & ASTER V2.
Using the insulation washer is not required in TITAN V3 and ASTER V3, and it's not included WITH the INSTALLATION KIT.
